Have a wireless router? It is also a network. If you have more than one PC you do not need to buy more than one printer. A router allows you to share your peripherals, including printers and file folders.

You share the wireless internet signal with your office or family. You also share it with anyone in the vicinity. Lock out curious neighbors from viewing your data with a security key.  Check with your router’s manual or manufacturer to block unauthorized access to your data - or call LFC.

An external hard drive is an easy way of adding storage capacity to your computer. It also serves as a backup drive for your important data. Remember: Redundancy is good when it means protecting your data.

Do you have very important data you want to save but do not need it on your PC? Burn it to a CD or DVD disk and place it in a fireproof safe. 

Turn your keyboard upside down and tap it lightly once a month to remove any food or bits of garbage.
